Fairchild AFB, WA
1. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE: The generator at Fairchild AFB’s Rambo Gate requires repair of its faulty Electronic Control Module. The contractor shall provide all necessary tools, equipment, labor and materials required to disassemble the generator, and replace the Electronic Control Module, reassemble and test for proper operation.
2. DESCRIPTION OF GENERATOR: Details of the generator are as follows: Genset Model # C50D6C-1974174; Genset Serial # G190604696; Engine Serial # 74509818. The unit currently has
180.5 hours on it. The Electronic Control Module will need to be replaced: Part # Cummins
4354531RX.
3. SCOPE OF WORK: The Contractor shall complete all work, which includes furnishing all supervision, labor (not to exceed 16 hrs.), material, equipment and services, unless otherwise specified herein, required under this contract. All work shall be performed by a credentialed mechanic/technician as required to not void the existing warranty on the Cummins generator and in accordance with this Statement of Work (SOW).
1. Disassemble engine
a. Disassemble the engine to a level required to remove the faulty Electronic Control
Module
2. Install new Electronic Control Module. All components shall be OEM or approved by the OEM.
a. Cummins Part Number – 4354531RX
4. Outcome: The contractor shall provide a fully functioning generator upon completion of work
5. GOVERNMENT FURNISHED PROPERTY AND SERVICES: The government shall furnish site access, electrical power, In the event of an emergency, dial 911.
6. GENERAL INFORMATION
6.1. HOURS OF OPERATION: Hours of operation are 0700-1630 Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays and any other designated down day. Work can be done at other than the normal hours of operation with the approval of the Contracting Officer. The contractor shall coordinate in advance all hours of work and any service interruptions with Civil Engineering points of contact.
6.2. SECURITY REQUIREMENTS: All personnel employed by the Contractor in the performance of this contract, or any representative of the Contractor entering the government installation, shall abide by all Fairchild Air Force Base security regulations.
7. PERFORMANCE PERIOD: Project shall not exceed 10 days after contract award.
