STATEMENT OF WORK

REMOVE AND REPLACE LAP & WADER POOL LINERS AT BLDG. 404

18 Feb 2021

1. Description of Services: Non-personal services to provide all labor, materials and work necessary to remove and replace the existing pool liner for Building 404 on Peterson AFB CO in accordance with (IAW) this Statement of Work (SOW).

2. Lap Pool Task

2.1. Remove and discard existing liner

2.2. Prep surfaces as necessary

2.3. Install seven (7) black tile swimming lanes

2.4. Grout swimming lanes with white sanded grout

2.5. Bond coat pool surface

2.6. Plaster surface with Blue Quartz diamondbrite plaster

2.7. Start system once lap pool is filled

2.8. Add necessary chemicals to balance water chemistry

2.9. Clean work area and check out with customer

3. Wader Pool Task

3.1. Remove and discard existing liner

3.2. Prep surfaces as necessary

3.3. Install six inch (6”) border tile (cobalt blue)

3.4. Grout tiled surfaces

3.5. Bond coat surface

3.6. Plaster surface with Blue Quartz diamondbrite plaster

3.7. Start system once lap pool is filled

3.8. Add necessary chemicals to balance water chemistry

3.9. Clean work area and check out with customer

4. Additional Information:

4.1. All work to provide complete and usable systems (electrical, plumbing, etc.) shall be included in the project.

4.2. Units shall be installed IAW the manufacturer’s installation instructions. Units shall be tested after completion of work for full operation.

4.3. Contractor shall dispose of all waste generated by this project according to all applicable local regulations.

4.4. Contractor shall be responsible to provide cleanup of worksite at the completion of the project.

4.5. Contractor shall comply with all local, state, and federal laws and regulations pertaining to the work. Environmental hazards shall be held in strict accordance with the law.

4.6. Contractor shall provide a materials and labor warranty of one year for the entire project.

4.7. All work shall be coordinated with Facility Manager and Contracting Officer a minimum of 14 days in advance of start of work. Work inside rooms shall be left clean with all debris and trash hauled off site. Outside work areas shall be left clean at the end of every day to prevent trash and debris from blowing off the work site.

5. Hours of Operation: The normal hours of operation will be 0700 to 1700 Monday through

Friday, excluding federal holidays.

6. Security Requirements: The Contractor is responsible for obtaining all necessary passes, decals, or other items required for access to Peterson AFB. The Contracting Officer will assist as required.
