STATEMENT OF OBJECTIVES
MORÓN AB ELMR UPS, GENERATOR, AND HVAC ANNUAL SERVICE
MORÓN AIR BASE
1. Project title Morón AB ELMR UPS, and Generator preventative maintenance service
2. Introduction We are requesting triannual service and preventative maintenance of Morón AB’s Enterprise Land Mobile Radio (ELMR) Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), Generator, and Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems. Additionally, we are requesting this service for a base period of one (1) year and four (4) option periods of one (1) year each.
3. Background
According to DoD policy, Communication Flight is required to have the ELMR rack mounted UPS, generator and HVAC systems inspected and serviced. Service of the rack-mounted UPS, generator, and HVAC units are urgently required in our Communication Flight. These systems are vital for maintaining uninterrupted networking operations, shielding against power disruptions, facility temperature control, enabling remote management, including emergency operations and countermeasures. Given the mission-critical nature of our communication tasks, these units are indispensable for equipment continuity, protection against temperature and power-related issues, and operational efficiency.
4. Salient Characteristics and Requirements The contractor shall provide 3 service visits and emergency visits as needed to perform maintenance services for:
• 2 each HPW WM31MD Air Conditioners
• 2 each NXC UPS units
