All flags must be comprised of nylon and PHF material with gold fringe, pole sleeves, mounting tabs, and 9-foot oak-finished poles with 1.25-inch diameter, machined brass threaded joints, tab rings, and rounded bottoms for floor stands or parade belt/harness use. Additionally, the contract requires 56 nine-inch mountings for the state flag set (including gold polished brass spear finials, ABS plastic bases with 12-inch diameter and gold finish, and 7-inch braided gold rope tassels), 56 flag stand carrying cases (black nylon heavyweight construction with knit handles and zippered pouches), and 56 flag carrying cases (black leather-like material with internal pockets for pole sections and ornaments, sized for 3x5' and 4x6' flag outfits). The contractor shall guarantee all work free from defective materials and equipment, with payment upon government acceptance using the Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF). Inside delivery is required to Building 42, 2531 Sheridan Road, Great Lakes, IL 60088, with the contractor responsible for offloading into the parking lot and transporting items into the facility. The technical point of contact for inspection and acceptance is Kimberley Ortega, Outreach Coordinator, at 847-688-3154 or kimberley.a.ortega.civ@us.navy.mil.
