About this file
This is a Requirements/Specification Document from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Communications Technology Laboratory for the procurement of one high-resolution near-infrared camera. The camera must be used for inspection of semiconductor wafers during high-frequency RF probing and optical illumination at 1550 nm wavelengths. Key technical specifications include: 2D area sensing with minimum 2560 x 2048 pixel resolution; 60 frames per second or greater at full resolution with 8-bit or higher pixel data; quantum efficiency exceeding 30% across 400 nm to 1600 nm wavelengths; 12-bit or greater analog-to-digital conversion with mono 8-bit and 12-bit readout capability; sensor area of 1" diagonal or smaller; global shutter with exposure times from 25 microseconds to 2 seconds; software-selectable free-running or external TTL frame triggering via SMA, Hirose, or M connector; external light source triggering capability; TEC-cooled sensor with software temperature control; USB3 or GigE interface; C-mount lens attachment; metal body not exceeding 100x100x100 mm with ¼-20 mounting hole; included live-image visualization software; and included DC power supply compatible with US AC wall voltage if required.
Delivery is required by April 30, 2027, to NIST-Boulder, attention Ladan Arissian, Mail Stop 672.00, 325 Broadway, Boulder, CO 80305. On-site inspection and acceptance are required with acceptance not expected to exceed 7 business days. Vendors must possess an Export Control Classification Number (ECCN) and an active Unique Entity Identification Number (UEI) registered with GSA System for Award Management (SAM.gov) at time of award. Base manufacturer warranty is acceptable. No training, installation, facility/utility considerations, calibration, maintenance, government-furnished material, or vendor travel requirements are specified.
