About this file
This is a Specifications document for a federal contract opportunity with the Agricultural Research Service, Pacific West Area, Western Regional Research Center.
The procurement requires one Robotic Multipurpose Autosampler and Olfactory Detection Port with full compatibility to existing Agilent 7890B/5977A GC-MS instrumentation and ChemStation control software. The equipment must support automated liquid injections using 2ml vials and headspace solid-phase microextraction (HS-SPME) injections using 10ml/20l vials, with HS-SPME derivatization capability. Key features include an agitator with temperature control, a heated nose cone with adjustable mount, and integrated software that processes and visualizes olfactory, chromatographic, and mass spectral data on a single platform. The system must enable real-time olfactory event markers, odor intensity measurements, and spoken odor quality documentation during gas chromatography runs. Delivery is required to Room 1132 at 800 Buchanan Street, Albany, CA 94710 within 8 weeks of purchase. Installation, assembly, one-year warranty, training, and technical support maintenance are included in the cost. The delivery point of contact is Andrew Karman at (510) 559-5741.
