About this file
This document is a State of California bid specification for the California Military Department, California Cadet Corps (CACC) related to military insignias and accoutrements. The specification defines the minimum requirements for insignias and accoutrements, such as shoulder marks, metal pin-on insignia, buttons, qualification badges, service cap devices, neckwear, uniform accessories, shoulder cords, patches, ribbon mounting bars, ribbons, devices, and medals. The accoutrements are intended for wear on Class C and Class B uniforms, and are awarded for accomplishments of individual cadets or the unit.
The document provides detailed technical requirements for the design, dimensions, materials, embroidery, and packaging of the various items. It also includes a complete ribbon chart and list of medal sets. The contract opportunity does not appear to have specific details on pricing terms, set asides, incumbents, funding sources, or award dates, as this appears to be a technical specification rather than a solicitation document.
