About this file

This document is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the procurement of Open Path Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) Spectrometer equipment with tripods and retroreflectors for the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS), Northwest Irrigation and Soils Research Unit in Kimberly, Idaho.

The RFQ specifies requirements for seven FTIR instruments with tripods and six retroreflectors without tripods, including detailed technical specifications such as detector type, wavelength range, resolution, operating temperature range, communication capabilities, and data analysis functionality. The equipment must be able to measure ammonia, methane, and nitrous oxide at parts-per-billion (ppb) levels. Delivery is required within 12 weeks of award. Offers are due by 1:00 p.m. Pacific Time on April 15, 2024, and the solicitation is unrestricted with a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 334516 and a small business size standard of 1,000 employees.
