o The concrete walkway will extend to the roadway (approx. 14 feet from the vault toilet) and 5 feet all around the entire structure.

o Contractor will place & compact 6" of stone or crushed concrete beneath the concrete walkways for additional stability.

o Contractor will place a 2: 1 slope around the sides and back of the vault toilet and will tie directly into the roadway at the front of the vault toilet.

o All disturbed areas will be topsoiled and seeded with roughly 2" of topsoil and seeded with a typical fescue/rye mix.

o The topsoiled and seeded area that are on a slope will be stabilized with erosion control matting Task 2. Contractor will remove and replace the parking barriers on Sheamess Overlook, a total length of 200 linear feet.

o Contractor will remove the existing guardrail system in its entirety. Contractor will peel back the existing stone at the area of the guardrail to expose the post base. Once exposed, Contractor will remove the entire system.

o The old guardrail material will be disposed of by contractor.

o After the guardrail has been removed, contractor will excavate four feet down from the existing grade to set post foundation.

o The post will then be set at every 8-foot on-center per the previous installation for a total of 26 posts to achieve the 200 LF length of the previous guardrail.

o Contractor will use marine grade 6x6 timbers.

o Guardrail will be installed following the same installation method as the previous installation, which utilized a half-lap type of joint and a hot-dipped galvanized carriage bolt to connect it to the posts.

o The guardrail will utilize the same 6x6 marine grade timbers as the posts for optimal durability.

o The subgrade will be prepped so that water will properly drain off of the roadway and on to the shoulders and existing roadway.
