About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) details gate infrastructure upgrades for the 57th Munitions Squadron at Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada. The project involves replacing and upgrading automatic gate systems across four controlled holding pad areas (60950-60953), with specific requirements including replacing gate operators, keypads, safety edges, photo eyes, conduits, and installing mag locks. The work requires wireless keypad installations, bollard placements, and wheel/track replacements to improve gate functionality and security.

Key performance requirements include assessing pad infrastructure, executing installation plans, providing personnel training, and delivering a completion report. The site visit is scheduled for August 15, 2025, at 9:00 AM Pacific Time, with vendor RSVPs due by August 13, 2025. Quote submissions are due August 22, 2025, at 10:00 PDT via email. Contractors must be licensed in Nevada, employ U.S. citizens cleared for restricted access, and complete the project within 60 days. Strict explosive safety and restricted area guidelines will be enforced, requiring continuous escort by 57 Munitions Personnel while working in controlled zones.

The 57th Munitions Squadron’s Line Delivery section manages 4 controlled holding pad areas (areas 60950-6093). 60950 & 60951 Both having 1 main gate entrance, while 60952 & 60953 both have 2 main gate entries. 60953 & 60952 both are semi-operational by motorized units and 60950 & 60951 are manually operational with deprecated infrastructure that is no longer viable.

To support mission effectiveness and security, new/updated infrastructure is required.

b. Current automatic gate infrastructure:

i. 60950: No working units. Currently has tracks and chain for manual operation but will need replacement.

ii. 60951: No working units. Currently has tracks and chain for manual operation but will need replacement.

iii. 60952: 2 Lift Master CSL24UL, 3 wired Lift Master KPR2000, 1 wireless

Lift Master KPW5, 2 safety edges, 2 safety loops, and 2 sets of sensor eyelets. Currently operation on track and chains in place but needs replacement.

iv. 60953: 2 Lift Master CSL24UL, 4 wired Lift Master KPR2000, 2 safety edges, 2 safety loops, and 2 sets of sensor eyelets. Currently operation on tracks and chains in place but needs replacement.

2. OBJECTIVE & SCOPE
