SOW for Large Tree Pruning and Removal at Germplasm

Objective
Prune and remove selected trees at the germplasm repository.
Description of Work
• Work should be conducted by certified ISA Arborists.
• Trees to be pruned will be clearly identified and are notated in the tables below.
• Service provider will work with government POC to arrange time when trees will be pruned.
• Damage to neighboring trees should be avoided.
• Equipment should be cleaned between jobs and tested for Little Fire Ants before being brought onto the property.
• All debris will be removed or chipped into small pieces <4 inches and placed in areas in field designated by the government POC
• Remove African Tulip Tree near Field H along fence line. Cut down and leave debris in brush area.
• Cleanup: The work site shall always be kept clean and free of debris. Disposal of the old equipment is required. Restore areas disturbed as nearly as possible to the original appearance and condition. Upon completion of the project, and prior to final inspection, the Contractor shall remove from the premises all unused material, trash, and debris resulting from the work to the satisfaction of the POC.
