Statement of Work (SOW)
Project: Conduct Air duct Cleaning for the entire school building, vents, and airways.
GENERAL INFORMATION
1.0 Background: As part of the COVID reopening plans and efforts Tsiya Day School had decided to provide a clean and safe environment without exposing students to
COVID 19 viruses. To minimize the environmental possibilities of bad air quality, the school is taking initiatives to prevent all health-related issues within the school which includes ensuring clean air ducts and airways for proper school ventilation.
2.0 Scope of Work: The project will include completing the remaining portions of the school building air duct system cleaning at Tsiya Day School.
2.1 Location:
Tsiya Day School, 1000 Borrego Canyon Rd, Zia Pueblo, NM 87053
CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS
3.0 General Requirements:
✓ Work requirements:
✓ Air Duct Cleaning- Full Negative air sweep of entire system.
✓ Air Scrubbing surface of ducts and pulling contaminants into a multi-filtered dust collector. Negative air cleaning is the method recommended by the Nation Air Duct Cleaner's Association (NADCA).
✓ Entire School, Except Gym, Cafeteria, Bilingual Room.
✓ Air duct cleaning to be completely done with in the allocated time to be on site.
✓ Vendor must ensure to quality check the work completed.
✓ Cleanup is a must after job is completed.
✓ Replace all vent protectors and close properly.
✓ Vendor is required to ensure all the code and compliance regulatory requirements will met based on code that is recommended for air ducts and ventilation for school buildings.
✓ Vendor will communicate any additional work needed with the COR and
Contracting Officer before proceeding with additional project requests.
✓ Vendor will notify the COR and CO of any additional concerns of the current air duct systems.
✓ Vendor will provide any final work performance reports or pictures.
3.1 Technical Requirements:
✓ Vendor shall perform the job as a professional licensed technician to perform the air duct cleaning as required by specifications to pass any inspection.
4.0 Government Furnished Equipment & Information:
✓ Vendor will provide their own tools, hardware, and project materials to complete the job.
✓ The federal government will not provide any equipment or materials to perform this job.
5.0 Deliverables / Schedule:
✓ Vendor will complete the entire school building air duct cleaning of the entire system.
✓ Once awarded the vendor will perform the work as soon as possible.
✓ The vendor will need to ensure COVID-19 clearance and compliance.
✓ The vendor will provide names of the technicians to receive approval to go onsite to perform work.
✓ Vendor will adhere to COVID-19 requirements while on site, to include social distancing, mask wearing and protective gear where necessary.
5.1 Period of Performance:

✓ The period of performance for the vendor to complete to entire job is estimated within 2 weeks but consecutive to ensure clearance is granted by school and
Pueblo tribe. Performance of work will also need to be coordinated by COR and vendor to ensure the work does not interfere with daily instruction of classroom where students where student’s population is during regular school hours.
Vendor may have to coordinate work to be performed during hours when students are not attending class to ensure excess debris not in contact with students.
Travel:
✓ No travel cost will be provided by the federal government.
✓ Vendor will pay its own travel expenses.
✓ Trave requirements – out of the city limits of Albuquerque, vendor will need to travel to the local school site to perform duties approximately 45 min away from city.
7.0 Key Personnel:
7.1 Contractor Personnel:
Designated Certified technicians to perform the air duct cleaning on site at the Tsiya
Day School.
7.2 Contracting Officer Representative (COR):
Designated by Contracting Office.
8.0 Security Requirements:
✓ Vendor will adhere to all security requirements for the Tsiya Day School and the Pueblo of Zia for entry and access to the school facility. School facilities are considered federal facilities so all access and security requirements will apply.
✓ Vendor will check in at front desk and check out upon leaving the facilities.
