STATEMENT OF WORK

Provide crane services and operator to 362 TRS/RHE CDDAR course

1 September 2021

1.0. SCOPE: The contractor shall provide a 50 ton crane, truck mounted or mobile, with an operator for vertical lifting of aircraft IAW Technical Order 00-80C-1. Crane must be operated by fully certified/qualified crane operators. The course will be conducted at the Sheppard AFB Annex, building 1708.

2.0. PRINCIPAL FEATURES: Provide crane and operators for the vertical lifting of the KC-135 nose and F-15 airframes at least 50 feet off the ground and boom angle adjusted to allow crane clearance from aircraft. Both of these lifts occur on day 5 of the 7 day course. 28 classes/lifts are scheduled for FY22. FY23 thru FY26 is projected to have 27 classes/lifts annually. CCDAR instructors will be signal operators and provide 7 day notice of exact day crane is required on site. The period of performance (crane/operators) will be from 1 Oct 2021 – 30 Sep 26.

3.0 CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Contractor shall provide 50 ton crane and certified/qualified crane operators. Contractor shall coordinate the lift schedule with the Crash Recovery Instructor Supervisor.
