About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) details the requirements for installing an Intrusion Detection System (IDS) and Access Control System (ACS) in Building 1077 at Arnold Air Force Base, Tennessee. The project involves implementing Honeywell Vindicator technology, including 5 IDS access panels, ACS on 11 doors, Balance Magnet Switches on multiple door types, and motion sensors covering all access points and facility perimeters. The system must integrate with the existing security infrastructure at Building 253 and comply with specific security standards (ICD-705, DAFMAN 16-1404-V3, and AFI 31-101).
Key technical requirements include a two-factor authentication system using ID badges/cards and personal identification numbers, remote access capabilities, and LAN/WAN integration. The contractor must be a Vindicator-certified integrator with technicians who are U.S. citizens and have passed a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI). The project includes comprehensive testing protocols, a 72-hour nuisance alarm verification period, a 30-day burn-in period, and a minimum 12-month warranty on parts and labor. All equipment must be UL-listed and compatible with the existing security infrastructure.
