The project requires a vendor to remove the existing torque converter, recondition it using Level 2 parts, replace internal components as needed, and reinstall the transmission and driveline. The SOW specifies that the work must be completed within six months of award, with the dozer being transported from the Socorro Field Division (located in Socorro, New Mexico) to a vendor's facility within 125 miles of the site. Potential vendors include local Albuquerque-area companies such as Ironhorse Welding, Wagner Equipment Co., and Southwest Construction Parts.
