RELOCATION OF TRAINING EQUIPMENT/ SUPPLIES

B1800 TO B1657

STATEMENT OF OBJECTIVES

Scope:

The contractor shall provide all management, personnel, tools, supplies, equipment, materials, and labor necessary to pack, load, transport, unload and relocate specialized training equipment and supplies from building 1800 to the Vandenberg Space Museum dry bay at building 1657. The contractor will remove all items found in Attachment 4 Inventory list. This effort will require disassembling and dismounting items from the wall and floor. To ensure the safety and integrity of all items a Site Visit is highly recommended in order to properly understand the size and magnitude of all items.

Additional Requirements:

1.1. The two items seen in the pictures below are currently located within the dry bay at building 1657. These items will need to be removed by the contractor and placed 10- 15 yards from the bays entrance. They may remain outside of the building until all equipment is successfully relocated to the rear of the bay. After this effort is complete the contractor will place the two items back inside the bay.

1.2.The contractor will be required to place three (3) items in a specific manner to ensure ease of access by VAFB personnel/trainees

• Engine: Titan Stage 1 Engine/Stand- must be accessible from all sides with at least a eight (8) foot radius

• Booster: Perseus Rocket Stage- must be accessible from all sides with at least a eight (8) foot radius

• Satellite: Satellite Trainer- must be free and encumbered
