Salient Characteristics:
Program Integration Office (PIO) Acoustic Testing Equipment
BACKGROUND: The PIO office requires Acoustic testing equipment and training to perform acoustic pretesting on the new facilities.
OBJECTIVES: Attain a complete Acoustic testing system and required training to utilize the equipment.
REQUIREMENTS:
The PIO office requires a battery powered NIST-Certified sound level meter with an included power supply/charger. They also require both Remote measurement software and PointSource Field STC software. This systems requires a Class 1 microphone, a Class 1 Precision Calibrator tuned to 94/140 decibels, a 2000 Watt Peak Travel Speaker, A White Noise Generator, a Laptop with power supply, High-grade hearing protection equipment, Adjustable Speaker tripod, Speaker Tripod Adaptor, Operators Tripod with Work surface sufficient to hold both the laptop and the NIST sound level meter, a ¼-20 SLM magnetic Mount, and a minimum 15 foot extension cord with 3 or more outlets. This system needs to include a travel case with custom cut foam for all sensitive electronic devices.
The PIO office requires in person training at Ellsworth AFB. This training will include how to set up and operate the equipment, including All Fundamentals plus a primer on basic acoustics, sound and measurement. This training will be Five (5) days in length and will yield eight (8) qualified participants.
DELIVERY: Delivery shall occur within 90 days ARO.
