About this file

This document is a Salient Characteristics specification for a Fuel Oil Heat Exchanger (FOHE) flushing system. The government requires procurement of a new, fully automated flushing system equivalent to the HotFlush, Inc. Model HF11 AF F15 (CAGE: 6ELV0), designed specifically for flushing FOHE units installed on F-15 and F-16 aircraft. The system must be delivered ready for immediate operational use.

The system shall operate on 240-volt, single-phase electrical power and deliver a minimum flow rate of 11 gallons per minute to effectively remove particulate contamination. It must incorporate replaceable filtration components and include materials to enable maintenance personnel to verify contamination levels during operations. The minimum included accessories are F-15/F-16 coupler fittings with required connectors, five 28-micron checkable screens, five 10-micron reservoir filters, and five 10-micron prefilter test papers. The system must maintain operational reliability during routine maintenance use.
