About this file

This document details the salient characteristics for a Portable Fire Pump (PFPN 10-2000) for USAG Bavaria's DES Fire Department in Grafenwoehr. The portable fire pump must meet stringent technical specifications, including a flow rate of at least 2,000 l/min at 10 bar and 2,250 l/min at 4 bar, with a maximum weight of 175 kg when operationally ready. Key features include a 3-cylinder 4-stroke in-line engine with electronic injection (max 55 kW output), a fully automatic priming system, side-mounted control panel with color display, two rotatable pressure outlets, a 19-liter fuel tank, and a BEOS charging socket for the starter battery.

The procurement requires delivery to USAG Bavaria's Fire Department, with the vendor also providing practical on-site operating training and a parts manual. The pump must conform to EN 14466 standards, with specific requirements for the carrying frame, control panel functionality, and operational characteristics such as engine RPM control via potentiometer and integrated pressure governor with thermal overheat protection and cavitation warning lamp.
