About this file
This document is a Salient Characteristics specification for BRACER FORGE, detailing requirements for four military/tactical tents. The tents must be sized between 16'-18' wide, 16'-18' long, with center heights of 10'-12' and wall heights of 6'-8'. Key specifications include OD Green or Desert Tan color, waterproof and UV-resistant cover material meeting NFPA 701 fire resistance standards, double-zippered personnel doors at each end, and windows with multiple layers including outer flaps and inner screens.
The tents require a steel frame protected from corrosion, capable of anchoring on dirt foundations and withstanding 50MPH wind loads. Additional requirements include a quick-connect 120VAC electrical system with fluorescent/LED lighting, removable non-slip floor, and reusable transportation containers. The government will handle tent installation. The document specifies environmental durability features like resistance to high temperatures (over 90°F), mold, rot, and sun exposure, with an ECU port for temperature control. All necessary hardware for setup and teardown must be included with the tents.
