About this file

Attachment 1 - Salient Characteristics is a document detailing the required specifications for a Mobile Workstation Generator Unit for the Department of the Air Force Pacific Air Forces. The unit must be trailer-mounted with a pintle hitch and provide electrical output through at least four 110VAC receptacles and one 220VAC receptacle, with all receptacles capable of 10A.

The generator requires a minimum 20-gallon fuel tank (gasoline preferred, diesel acceptable) and includes an integrated water pumping system with 2-inch hoses for manhole system operations. It must also feature a built-in fresh-air blower ventilation system capable of forced manhole ventilation, providing hot air for cold month operations and drying wet splices. The solicitation (FA500025Q0042) notes that funds are not currently available, and the government reserves the right to cancel the solicitation without reimbursing offeror costs.
