About this file
The document is a Salient Characteristics specification for a MAKO SCBA Breathing Air Compressor (Model BAM07H or equivalent). The detailed requirements specify a precise air compressor with technical specifications including 6000 psi production capacity, 20.7 CFMs output, 208/230/460 volt 3-phase electrical drive, a 4-stage compressor block, and a NEMA 15 hp electric motor. The compressor must have specific features such as an operations panel with illuminated controls, emergency stop button, monitoring gauges, and ability to dispense Grade D and E air quality.
Additional key requirements include a fully enclosed sound-attenuating enclosure (80 dba maximum), UL listing, NEMA 12 electrical enclosure, auto-drain system, and dimensional specifications of approximately 66¼" height, 33½" width, and 42" depth. The specification mandates a comprehensive training program for four people, two operating manual copies, and requires seamless integration with an existing MAKO Bottle Fill Unit. The compressor must comply with OSHA 1910.134 and NFPA 1989 standards, and includes a 5-year or 1,000-hour standard warranty from the original installation date.
