About this file
The document is a Salient Characteristics specification for Combo Fire/CO Detectors for the 319 CES at Grand Forks AFB, ND. The procurement requires FCO-951 Series Advanced Multi-Criteria Fire/CO Detectors with specific technical requirements, including the ability to detect four major fire elements, separate CO detection signal, and compatibility with Notifier fire panels. Key specifications include an operating temperature range of 32°F to 100°F, operating voltage range of 15 to 32 VDC, and a 10-year CO cell with end-of-life warning.
The detectors must meet multiple safety certifications, including UL 268 7th edition, UL 521, UL 2075, CAN/ULC S529, CAN/ULC S530, and CSA 6.19-01. The document emphasizes the detector's advanced features such as automatic drift compensation, highest nuisance alarm immunity, and the ability to use only one address on the SLC. Vendors are instructed to notify the contracting agency if they plan to provide an equivalent product, with the delivery location specified as Grand Forks AFB in North Dakota.
