The following salient characteristics are required to meet the needs of this requirement:
Must comply with MIL5088l, AS50881, BAC5152, Conforms to SAE ARP5607 (Legibility of Print)
Laser Wire Marker. Class 1 for use on open shop floor Marks wire using UV YAG Laser Full graphics capability including upper and lower cases of alpha-numeric characters in any language, bar codes, logos Unlimited font and size selection and orientation (horizontal & vertical & multiline) Mark spacing from 2.5 mm (.1 inch) to 2500mm (99.9 inch) Three (3) different messages and variable mark spacing along wire length
Wire Processing Machine speed of wire output is up to 40 ft/min Wire sizes .75 mm to 10 mm, (26 AWG- 4 AWG) Single conductor wire or multi-core cable Min/Max cable length: 8.5 inches to 400,000 inches Any UV laser markable wires including, but not limited to TKT/TK wires such as BMS 13-60, M22759/80-92, ETFE, XL-ETFE such as BMS 13-48, M22759/32
Wire Handling Powered coil pan Belt type wire pulling mechanism for round wire and twisted cable Powered Cutter
Control Stand-alone capability to include:
Software with upgrades and licenses and calibration Programmable specifications for marking values Laptop - LAN capable
