About this file
This document is an Attachment to a procurement request for a Three-Dimensional (3D) Printer System with specific technical requirements. The system consists of three 3D printers: two printers for printing materials with Continuous Fiber Reinforcement (CFR) and one high-strength 3D printer capable of printing advanced reinforced materials. Both printer types require identical core specifications, including a build volume of 12.6 x 5.2 x 6 inches, Z-layer dimensional accuracy of 1 micrometer, a touchscreen interface, and compatibility with various materials like Onyx, PLA, TPU, Fiberglass, Carbon Fiber, and Kevlar.
The technical specifications mandate non-cloud-based software with capabilities for printing composite parts, slicing, scaling, orienting, and filling designs. The specific models referenced are Markforged Part No. F-PR-4012 for the standard 3D printer and F-PR-2027 for the high-strength printer, with the requirement that equivalent systems will be considered. Additional requirements include USA-compatible electrical plugs, support for STL file format, and the ability to print with continuous fiber reinforcement 3D printing technology. The document provides a comprehensive technical description of the required 3D printer system, detailing precise performance and functional expectations.
