Attachment 1 – Required Capabilities

NASA AFRC will not review general capability statements. Please ensure submissions provide all requested information and specifically address each of the capabilities below.

Interested firms having the required capabilities necessary to meet the requirement described herein should submit a capability statement indicating the ability to perform all aspects of the effort.

Provide at least three (3) examples of contract experience for Facilities Management type of work that includes facilities and aircraft hangar operations and maintenance services. At least one contract example must be for work performed by Respondent as a Prime Contractor performing at least 51% of the physical non- managerial work. For each area, indicate what percentage of the requirement your company would perform.

I. Contract Experience Requirements:

A. Completed within the past three (3) years or that are currently in progress; and, B. That are of similar size and scope and magnitude comparison to the NASA AFRC location as set forth in the body of the announcement and further in Section II below.

II. Capability Statement Response Requirements:

A. Basic contract information for each contract (including e.g., contract type, task overview, dollar amount, customer, period of performance and nature of contract (e.g. governmental or commercial), etc.); and, B. The size and function of the facility (i.e., number of buildings, acreage, number of employees, type of company, Critical Infrastructure).

C. The response must provide sufficient information for the NASA AFRC to fully understand the work performed and the magnitude. In addition to the above, Respondents must indicate whether they have the following experience and must provide clear and concise summaries of that experience.

1. Experience creating and implementing a management plan to balance work schedules and coordinating with multiple customers on one centralized facility with varying requirements and overlapping schedules.

2. Experience utilizing Facilities Maintenance Management software to plan and schedule a minimum of 15,000 work tasks per year and ensure efficient planning practices are used to minimize system down time while meeting requirements.

3. Experience and methods with inventory management such as procuring and stocking large and varying amounts of parts and materials for meeting contractual requirements.

4. Experience inspecting, testing and certifying hangar doors, cross-connections, backflow devices, fire suppression systems, elevators, and cranes.

5. Experience maintaining industrial open and closed loop cooling towers, building automation systems, boilers, chillers, potable/industrial water systems, and waste water systems.

6. Experience with automatic sprinkler systems, foam, gas, wet, dry chemical systems, and hydrazine fire extinguishing systems.

7. Experience maintaining emergency power generator systems and fuel storage facilities.
