About this file

This document is a Schedule of Items for a federal contract opportunity for the Prairie Dog Control project on the Nebraska National Forests and Grasslands. The contract is an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) with a period of performance from 09/01/2024 to 08/31/2029.

The Schedule of Items lists the estimated quantities and maximum unit prices for pre-baiting and baiting services on designated prairie dog colonies across four ranger districts in Nebraska and South Dakota. The total estimated acres range from 300 to 4,500 per district, per year. The government notes that actual quantities may vary based on needs and budget. Contractors must provide unit prices for all items, even if the quantity is zero, as the government may require those services in the future. Travel and other mobilization costs are to be included in the unit prices, which are the maximum allowable under the contract. The intent is for task order pricing to be more competitive than the maximum prices provided.

All quantities listed in the contract schedule are estimates only and do not reflect actual quantities to be ordered over the life of the contract. Actual quantities required in any given year are dependent on the needs of the agency and/or budget. Therefore, only certain schedule items may be included on a task order in any given year. Even if a quantity is zero, you will need to provide a unit price for that item. The Government may need to have that work performed if priorities/needs change. Failure to provide a unit price on all items may result in the Offeror’s proposal being found non-responsive.

Travel charges include travel, per diem, or other mobilization costs and are to be included in the unit prices.

Prices provided on the schedule of items are the maximum price a contractor can charge for those items based on the stated specifications. It is anticipated that the pricing provided for the task orders will be lower priced and more competitive than the maximum prices provided for the Master IDIQ Price Schedule.
