Pickleball Court Flooring Tiles Salient Characteristics (2 courts)

1. The contractor is responsible for delivering the tiles to the installation.

2. The tiles must be designed for sport/athletic play, preferably designed specifically for pickleball

3. The tiles must provide a stable and durable playing surface with good traction

4. The tiles cannot slide, shift, buckle, or experience unreasonable wear and tear when a player stops or changes direction suddenly

5. The tiles must provide an adequate amount of rebound (bounce) for the pickleball

6. The tiles must be lined so that when installed, all of the required lines and boundaries are in the appropriate place for a standard-sized pickleball court. In the event that this is not possible, the tiles must have a surface that is compatible with the use of vinyl floor tape and provides a reasonable period of use before the tape must be replaced.

7. The tiles must form a flat, even surface that is free of excessive gaps between tiles

8. The tiles must be easily cleaned i.e. can be mopped with a standard antibacterial cleaning solution without causing damage or discoloration of the tiles

9. There must be enough tiles for two standard-sized pickleball courts (44' x 20') and court perimeter, totaling 60' x 30' per court.

10. The tiles must not require an adhesive to stick to the floor.
