Attachment 1 Photos of Existing Fixtures, Lighting, and Interiors for RFP 694.pdf

This is an attachment containing photographic documentation for Request for Proposals 694 issued by the Alaska Legislative Affairs Agency for the modernization of elevators at the Alaska State Capitol in Juneau. The attachment comprises five pages of photographs depicting the existing elevator fixtures, lighting, and interior components that require modernization or replacement. Images include the elevator car operating panel, car interior, direction and position indicators, ground floor lobby fixtures and indicators, hallway direction lanterns for floors one through five in both up (white) and down (red) configurations, and general hallway fixtures. These photographs serve as a visual reference for offerors to understand the current condition and configuration of the elevator systems that will be modernized to comply with the latest ASME/ANSI A17.1 Code and applicable federal, state, and municipal regulations.

The photographs document existing conditions for two six-stop Otis brand cable elevators and are intended to inform qualified contractors about the scope of work required, including retrofitting or custom fabrication of fixtures, controls, buttons, position indicators, direction lanterns, and emergency lighting. These visual references support the comprehensive modernization project that encompasses operational safety upgrades, new machine room equipment and control systems, new door operating and safety equipment, new hoist way equipment, and all labor, materials, supplies, tools, and equipment necessary for completion of the work.
