About this file
This document contains a Performance Requirement Summary (PRS) and details of a related federal contract opportunity for protective clothing and laundering services. The PRS outlines seven key performance objectives for the contractor including initial sizing and fitting of protective clothing for employees, weekly pickup and delivery services, maintaining delivery schedules, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation standards are met, providing signed service tickets after each delivery, submitting accurate monthly invoices, and reporting all labor hours. Non-compliance is subject to non-conformance reports and potential payment reductions.
The associated federal contract opportunity is solicited by the Department of the Army Materiel Command Mission and Installation Contracting Command Fort Hood. It seeks proposals for a base year plus four option years to provide rental protective clothing, laundering services on a weekly basis, and repairs/replacements for eleven government facilities. The requirement is set aside for women-owned small businesses with a NAICS code of 812332. The response deadline will be stated in the solicitation posted on SAM.gov where any amendments will also be noted. Questions are due five days after posting.
