88 MDG/SGQC Clinical Laboratory, Contract for Laboratory Management

Software

1. Introduction: Requesting to acquire Clinical Laboratory management 1 year subscription to:

manage operating instructions (SOPs), track and provide training, manage documents, manage inspections and their results (both self and outside agencies), and provide a single source for Laboratory and Histology department Continuing Education (CE) credit obtainment.

2. Background: The 88th MDG Clinical Laboratory is requesting subscription with the above capabilities in order to more efficiently manage various operations. In general, the laboratory must maintain records for periods 3 years or longer. While paper is possible, storage becomes an issue, as well as locating various forms during an inspection. Acquiring software that can house, and archive these forms improves the ability to be inspection ready. Additionally, the Laboratory conducts many intervals of training that must be tracked to the day (such as initial and annual training) and maintained for years after. Software that automatically tracks, and notifies training supervisors and the trainees of upcoming requirements will greatly reduce the possibility of training lapses, and as a consequence, a decrease in mission capability. Furthermore, having a single source for forms and Continuing Education credits simplifies the workflow for all Laboratory staff, whereby they will only need to access a single application for all forms, questions, SOPs and re-accreditation requirements.

3. Delivery Date: December 15, 2022 and each calendar year thereafter until the expiration of the 5 year contract.

4. Location:

88th MDG/Clincal Laboratory Area A, Bldg. 830 4881 Sugar Maple Dr Wright-Patterson AFB, OH 45433
