SPECIFICATION WITH INCIDENTAL SERVICES
1.0 Specifications Description:
The Almaco SPC- 20 plot combine will meet this requirement, but any small plot combine that meets these requirements will be considered.
USDA/ ARS / requires a small plot combine for the hemp breeding program to harvest small plot breeding trials
Unit Type: Each
Minimum Requirements:
A: Mechanical System Requirements:
1. Combine must be self-propelled and powered by a diesel engine
2. Combine must have a standard 60” reel head with a belt feed
3. Combine must have 6mm and 22mm sieve assemblies
4. Combine must have the reel flap option
5. Combine must have a narrow concave for small seeded crops
6. Combine must have a sampling platform for bagging and a sample bag holder
7. Combine must have a sacking chute assembly
B: Data Collection Requirements:
1. Combine must come with a Data 1 collection system and a weigh hopper
2. Combine must include a Mobile demand tablet with the harvesting data collection software
C: Incidental Services:
1. Field orientation must be included at the customer site
2. Combine must come with two years of warranty.
3. After the first season, the supplier must come to customer site for routine preventative maintenance work.

Facility Access: No badges or background checks are required. A Federal employee will be assigned to authorize the contractor and their workers entry. Contractor employees will be escorted and monitored throughout the building. Work shall be performed Monday through Friday between hours of 8:30 am to 4:00 pm.
