Statement of Work (SOW) Project: HVAC/Boilers
GENERAL INFORMATION
1.0 Background: Many Farms High School building 1369 heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system controller has reach it end of life and in need of replacement. The current HVAC boilers and pumps with control module is no longer function that provide adequate heat to the building 1369. The high school supports 9th -12th students and staff, the current HVAC boilers controller is longer cost efficiency and is not providing adequate heat for the classrooms and offices.
The school HVAC boiler is needed of a full reinstallation of boiler and pumps to heat the classrooms and offices of building 1369.
2.0 Scope of Work: Current boilers are needing replacement including the pumps for the HVAC system also the controller for the boilers. All devices that’s connected to the HVAC boiler needs to be replaced. The HVAC system controller shall be included with boiler and other related items to make the boiler efficient to provide heat to the building. The work requires to remove the existing boilers and pumps.
All systems need to be tested and programming shall include hardware, software and maintenance, user training both on site and on-line training of the HVAC.
Project also includes testing, and documentation of the HVAC network diagram and all configuration of the HVAC system. This shall include travel and per diem to install the HVAC system for Many Farms High School.
2.1 Location: The project will be performed at Many Farms High School -BIE Arizona Navajo Central Chinle. The physical address is at Hwy 191 Lake View Dr, of Many Farms, AZ 86538.
CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS
3.0 General Requirements: Responsible for providing technical assistance and support installations of HVAC boilers and pumps to the main system in building #1369 with full support of troubleshooting and training for the HVAC boiler system controller.
• The contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, materials, transportation, insurances, supplies, supervision, employees, and other incidentals required to perform the designed work at Many Farms High School and shall be responsible for the professional quality, technical accuracy, and timely completion of the contract.
• The contractor shall proceed to the Many Farms High School Administration office and check-in and out during schedule days of performances.
• Remove current boilers and pumps including any pipes that are associated with the boilers.
• Boilers need to be efficient to support the school needs for heat.
• Remove current boilers stacks and replace with new supporting brackets.
• Remove any existing piping insulations and replace.
• Replace the school’s two new HVAC pumps that are efficient to supplies and adequate gallons per minute (GPM) for the system.
• Replace the electrical and controller for the boilers.
• Include startup and testing of the new boilers and pumps.
• Plan for unforeseen conditions that are related to the boilers and pumps including new pipes to the main pumps with new gaskets.
• The contractor shall install new HVAC boiler system controller and provide remote troubleshooting if necessary or over the telephone services.
• The contractor shall manage technical vender relationships and work with vendors to solve technical issues.
• Staff shall be ablet to control temperature from classrooms.
• The contractor shall include limited warranties on installed equipment.
• The contractor shall provide technical assistance to Many Farms High School.
The support and delivery shall be properly coordinated in the upmost professional matter.
• There will be meeting(s) called if necessary to discuss problems or issues that need resolutions.
• The contractor shall notify the COR if there is non-service or delivery delays and the invoice shall be adjusted accordingly.
• The contractor shall notify the COR of any changes in the cost of services. If requested changes are valid, the contractor shall wait on approval from the Contracting Officer.
• The contractor shall coordinate all scheduling or changes in delivery or services, scheduling with the COR and school representative.
• The contractor shall ensure their performance in providing service is in safe, professional matter at all times. Any unsafe or unprofessional conduct shall be reported immediately.
5.0 Deliverables / Schedule:
5.1 Period of Performance: 90 days from Notice to Proceed.
5.2 Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
• The contractor is required to provide a documentation of the installation and configuration of the HVAC controller and test report that are functional with BIE IT requirement.
