About this file
This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for servicing and repairing two FTI-5A fuel polishers located at the VA Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center and Clinics (SORCC) in White City, OR. The vendor must provide one-time service to both fuel polishers (located in two separate generator houses) and repair a leak in the polisher in generator house 2.
The required services include changing filters (1-micron, 3-micron, 10-micron, strainer filter), draining and cleaning the water separator, and cleaning the water level sensor. The leak repair requires replacement hoses, fittings, and connections to bring the system to leak-free condition. The work must be performed by qualified technicians familiar with fuel systems and Cat Peterson power generation equipment within 45 calendar days of award. Services must be performed during normal business hours (7am-5pm, M-F), and the vendor must provide all labor, personnel, materials, and equipment. The vendor must check in at Building 229 (FMS) and submit detailed service records documenting all completed work. Special considerations include maintaining generator paralleling when ambient temperatures exceed 85°F for more than 2 hours.
