About this file

This is a Fleet Change Log document that references updates to dump truck specifications for the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) Bulk Buy Dump Trucks Request for Proposal. The RFP seeks proposals from qualified organizations to provide single axle and tandem axle dump trucks to the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission and MoDOT, with an anticipated purchase of 45 to 65 dump trucks total. All dump trucks must be delivered no later than December 31, 2027. The contract period commences from the fully executed resulting agreement through one year. MoDOT will receive proposals electronically through MissouriBUYS powered by MOVERS and by mail through USPS, UPS, or FedEx, with hard copy submissions requiring five calendar days' prior notification to the buyer of record. Inquiries should be directed to Ashten Nichols at ashten.nichols@modot.mo.gov.

The Fleet Change Log documents significant specification modifications compared to the previous solicitation across multiple technical areas. Key changes include removal of "oil pan" from corrosion mitigation requirements with relocation to the engine section requiring stainless steel material; addition of upfitter circuits in electrical requirements; frame hole punching or pre-drilling requirements on all chassis; updated language specifying three sets of keys; addition of weight identification tag requirements; backup camera display restrictions prohibiting rear view mirror style mounts with pre-approval requirements; hydraulic function control valve specifications requiring additional sections for wing, scraper, pre-wet, and anti-ice functions regardless of selected options; underbody scraper pre-approval requirements; and moldboard specifications with removeable base angles standard on 12' and 14' front snowplow options. Vendors are solely responsible for thoroughly reviewing all specifications to ensure compliance with MoDOT's complete requirements.
