About this file
This is a Statement of Work (SOW) and related pre-solicitation notice for a one-time purchase of Epic Plus Mitral Heart Valves for the Cleveland VA Medical Center. The requirement is specifically for two units each of valve sizes E200-25m, E200-27m, E200-29m, E200-31m, and E200-33m, representing a platform change from the previous E100 model which is no longer available. The surgical department needs these specific heart valves to maintain inventory par levels and ensure continuity of patient care, as surgeons are already trained and familiar with these devices.
The opportunity will be issued as a brand name only, small business set-aside with a firm-fixed price contract type. The Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration VISN 10 is the contracting agency, with performance and delivery to take place at the Cleveland VAMC (10701 East Blvd, Cleveland, OH 44106). The solicitation number is 36C25025Q0350, and while delivery details will be finalized post-award, the requirement is described as urgent due to depleted inventory. The contractor will not require access to VA sensitive information, and the COR will work with warehouse staff and biomedical engineering to inspect and accept the delivered items.
