1.2. PROJECT SCOPE

1.2.1. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, and incidentals necessary to replace and upgrade network switches and Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) throughout the Fire Alarm System (FARS) including system hardware, firmware, and software in accordance with (IAW) this Statement of Work (SOW) at Buildings: 1, 893, 982, 1156, 1470, and 2025 at Peterson Space Force Base (SFB).

The contractor is to configure and replace them with 7 new managed switches to include security management features in appendix A. The new managed switches will require replacing the older SC style fiber patch cables with newer Lucent Connector (LC) to SC fiber optic patch cables depending on the configuration.

1.2.8. Contractor shall make this determination. Existing fiber panel connections are SC type connections. There are multiple locations with multiple 12 port switches within the same rack which means that only 7 new managed switches will be required as the old Catalyst 2900 series switches are consolidated and replaced.

1.2.9. Switches need to have 24 ports and capable of communicating with the Fireworks fire alarm systems and fireworks monitoring system.
