2. Replace the Polycom Pan/Tilt/Zoom (PTZ) camera and five (5) PTZ room cameras
3. Replace camera control units (CCU) (if required due to camera choice)
4. Replace three (3) rack mounted dual camera monitors
5. Replace camera Joystick control unit
6. Add one (1) rack video input and output plate
7. Replace and add cards in Crestron DM-MD32X32-RPS to support inputs and outputs for new requirements
8. Supply necessary programming to support integrated system
Corona Room Specific Requirements
1. Need one (1) Cisco CODEC configured for SIPR classification level.
a. Replace the end of life Polycom HDX 8000 CODEC
b. Ensure CODEC does not have wireless capabilities and meets current
Department of Defense (DoD) guidelines
c. CODEC must be able to support simultaneous camera and slide inputs and dual video outputs
i. Video will be routed by the Crestron matrix switch
ii. Analog audio will be processed through the QSC audio processor (This allows VTC audio to always be routed to speakers and is not a touch panel routing to speakers)
d. Properly configure CODEC per DoD Security Technical Implementation Guide
(STIG)
e. System will be power controlled so that it is only powered on and will operate in Secret VTC mode
f. Ensure proper TEMPEST spacing when installing CODEC
i. Recommend CODEC be installed near bottom of rack to ensure
TEMPEST space.
2. Need six (6) PTZ video cameras
a. Primary Camera: Replace one (1) Polycom VTC camera
i. Primary camera centered below the projection screen must have at minimum 8 presets
ii. Wall housing dimension for primary camera: approx Width: 13”
Height: 6 ½” Depth: 10 ½”
b. Room Cameras: Replace five (5) room cameras
i. Must have support mounting plates designed for camera
ii. Front cameras (two) are wall mounted
iii. Rear and side cameras (three) are pole mounted
c. All cameras must be able to be used in a Top Secret environment
d. All cameras must be PTZ capable
3. Need six (6) CCU (if required due to camera choice)
a. Replace existing control room camera control units
b. HDMI capability for system consistency
4. Need three (3) rack mounted dual camera monitors
a. Replace existing control room camera monitors
b. Primarily used for room monitoring
c. Video from each camera is permanently assigned to each monitor whether looped from CCU or DM switch
5. Need joy stick control of PTZ video cameras
a. Replace existing Vaddio unit
b. Allows camera control for in-room monitoring from control room
6. Need one (1) rack mounted HDMI input and output plate
a. Located in control room rack
b. Custom rack plate needed with two (2) DM transmitters & one (1) DM receiver
i. Two (2) DM HDMI/VGA/3.5mm input
ii. One (1) DM HDMI output
c. All audio will be routed with selected video
7. Need Crestron DM-MD32X32-RPS input and output cards
a. Remove five (5) DMC-VID-BNC cards from DM switch
b. Need six (6) input cards to support video cameras (HDMI or DM/HDBaseT depending on camera solution)
c. Need one (1) output to support camera feed to CODEC
d. Ensure CODEC connections (content feed to CODEC and dual monitor feeds from CODEC) are properly configured to support the new VTC CODEC (replace with proper DM cards and add proper receiver/transmitter units at main CODEC rack)
i. Per the one line drawing the content feed to the CODEC is HDMI
ii. Per the one line drawing the two (2) monitor outputs from the CODEC are DVI
iii. Crestron matrix switch is in the control room (127) and the secure VTC
CODEC is in the old projector room (128)
e. Need two (2) input and one (1) output to support control room HDMI rack plate
f. Replace three (3) DVI input cards with three (3) HDMI inputs to support control room computers
g. Existing spare inputs and outputs on the DM switch
i. Two (2) HDMI outputs using a DMC-4K HDO
ii. One (1) HDMI input using a DMC-4K –HD
iii. One (1) DM output using a DMC-4K-CO-HD

v. Six (6) available empty slots in the chassis
8. Need programming support
a. Update firmware for Crestron system to support new cards
b. Program system to ensure same functionality as the existing system
c. Program Crestron system to allow any camera to be routed to any destination at any time
d. Update Crestron code to function with the new CODEC
i. If possible connect via analog RS-232 to CODEC (easier to achieve DoD STIG compliance)
ii. If not ensure connection meets requirements listed in DoD STIG
iii. The Crestron Pro 2 currently installed appears to be a slave from the
Main Crestron CP3. It appears to be used only to provide the RS-232 communication to the CODEC
e. Change Mode Select page icons:
i. Remove NIPR VTC icon from touch panel (The room no longer supports
NIPR VTC capability)
ii. Remove Teleconference icon (usually this is used in conjunction with a presentation and DCC staff can access the Teleconference tab as needed)

i. Presets are for the primary camera centered under the projection screen
ii. Camera must have at minimum 8 presets
1. Preset zero (0) is the default wide angle position
