Statement of Work
For 23 CBCS (Toolcat)
19 Aug 2025
Description: The ToolCat, manufactured by Bobcat, is required by 23rd Combat Communications Squadrons (23 CBCS) as a designated Unit Type Code (UTC) item (6KTGB) supporting contingency and deployed mission sets. The ToolCat, in conjunction with specific attachments pallet forks, a bucket, and a trencher is essential to meet the requirements outlined within this UTC.
This equipment is standardized across multiple CBCS UTCs to ensure interoperability, not only within individual squadrons but across the global CBCS enterprise. Uniformity in equipment enables shared support, consistent training, streamlined maintenance, and compatibility of attachments and parts during joint or deployed operations.
This is a "Brand Name ONLY" requirement to ensure and maintain platform consistency across the three CBCS UTCs. Standardization ensures rapid and seamless availability of repair support, minimizes training variance, and maintains mission readiness through compatible attachments and equipment support systems.
