About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for solicitation W911S2-26-Q-DICE, providing details about a federal contract for deicing products. The incumbent contractor is Seneca Mineral Company (Contract W911S221A5004), with historical order volumes of approximately 50,000 gallons of NASi Alpine RF-11 liquid deicer and 320 tons of Sodium Formate granules solid deicer. The government requires minimum order sizes of 80 tons of solid deicer or 4,400 gallons of liquid deicer, with deliveries made on an as-needed seasonal basis. The solicitation specifically requests pricing in two units (gallons and metric net tons) to accommodate suppliers from different regions, and allows for "brand name or equal" submissions for the NASi Alpine RF-11 Potassium Acetate Liquid Runway Deicer, with submittals requiring pre-award approval.
