PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT (PWS)
HAZARDOUS WASTE DISPOSAL
SCOPE:
The Geotechnical and Structures Laboratory (GSL) of the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) at Waterways Experiment Station requires the removal of hazardous waste materials and disposal of other containerized/packaged chemicals/materials over the next five years.
To meet this need, ERDC GSL anticipates award of Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA). The total anticipated need over the next five years is $150,000.
The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and transportation necessary for the cleanup/disposal of all materials specified in each BPA call. Maximum amount of effort per call will be $30,000.00.
REQUIREMENTS:
The contractor will be required to perform the following upon request of the government:
- Lab spill cleanup and waste disposal to remove and properly dispose of chemical spill in laboratory.
- Removal of containerized/packaged materials.
- Providing lab packs to meet transportation standards, if needed
- Testing of unknown wastes
Site visits may be needed prior to issuance of a BPA call so the contractor can review the materials to be removed and consult with Government representatives concerning the effort.
PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE:
Master BPA: Five years from date of award.
BPA Call: Contractor will begin within 30 days of BPA call and will complete within 15 days unless otherwise specified.
PLACE OF PERFORMANCE:
All materials will be collected at:
Engineer Research and Development Center 3909 Halls Ferry Road Vicksburg MS, 39180
Specific buildings will be specified in each BPA Call.
Table 1 provides a list of potential materials (but is not limited to) that require proper disposal.
The same and/or similar materials are anticipated to require removal over the next five years.
