About this file
The file is an artwork specification document for various table and chair covers for the USS Ted Stevens (DDG 128), detailing custom upholstery and design requirements. The document outlines specific cover designs for multiple ship areas including the Wardroom, Pilot House, CPO (Chief Petty Officer) Mess, General Mess, and specialized areas like Medical and POW (Prisoner of War) spaces. Key design elements include SF 64 Sapphire blue fabric, ship's crest placement, gold embroidered titles like "CO" and "XO", and specific dimensional requirements for each cover type. The covers are designed with unique identifiers such as "DENALI DINER" on general mess covers and Chief anchors on CPO mess chair backs, reflecting the ship's identity and organizational hierarchy.
Quantities vary by area, with examples including 17 Wardroom chairs, 3 CO Pilot House chairs, 19 CPO Mess chairs, and multiple table covers in different sizes ranging from 24" to 168" in length. The artwork specifications demonstrate meticulous attention to design details, incorporating the ship's crest, ship number (DDG 128), and thematic elements like the Denali Mountain Range, all printed or embroidered in specific color schemes (primarily SF 62 Sky and SF 64 Sapphire) to create a cohesive visual identity across different ship spaces.
