Product Description:

A wearable device which enables operators to comfortably scan building layouts or construction sites at the speed of walking, to capture 3d measurements with 2 multi –layer LiDAR sensors in combination with software to deliver survey-grade quality captures, in conjunction with 4 cameras positioned on top of the device to take high resolution images with a 360deg capture without the operator appearing in the field of view. To include a built-in touchscreen interface to insure complete coverage as the scan progresses.

Product Use:

A wearable/mobile mapping system designed for laser scanning for trained personnel that enables high-quality, reality capture of complex building layouts and construction sites; to be used to update floor plans and creating 3D BIM models of current and new facilities for space utilization purposes, and with possible use to better QA/QC procedures of construction projects.

Must meet or exceed required performance salient characteristics of items listed below:

1. Wearable/mobile backpack 3d scanner

2. 2x16-layer LiDar Sensors which is eye-safe, with a max 100m range and can scan at 2x300,000 points per second.

3. 4 Cameras with a 4x20 megapixel resolution and a 3.3mm Fisheye lenses.

4. Have the ability to support 1TB of storage onboard the device.

5. Can function with both wall and ground control points.

6. Provide a 5.5" AMOLED capacitive multi-touch screen display for real time feedback/control/monitoring w/ 1080x1920 resolution.

7. Must be able to provide 1.5 hours of uninterrupted scanning and provide a hot swappable battery system.

8. Must provide 6 mm accuracy in a dedicated test environment of 500 sqm.

9. Must include software to download, process, and edit/correct any data gathered.

10. Must include training for software and hardware.

11. Must include a minimum of 1yr online support.
