About this file
This Specifications Document outlines requirements for a modular portable cargo loading ramp needed by the 100th Logistical Readiness Squadron (100 LRS) at RAF Mildenhall, United Kingdom. The document establishes specifications for a ramp that will support the squadron's mission of managing government equipment and offloading over 500 wheeled assets across two wings.
The required ramp must have a load capacity of up to 50 short tons, be storable on a 463L pallet with maximum dimensions of 88" x 108" x 88" when disassembled, accommodate varying wheelbase vehicles, and adjust for trailer heights up to 58 inches. The contractor must provide all materials, transportation, and personnel for manufacture and delivery to Building 582 at RAF Mildenhall. Additional requirements include a minimum one-year warranty and contractor-provided demonstration and user training upon delivery. The ramp will address the current lack of capability to offload cargo in areas without level cargo docks, particularly for flatbed trailer deliveries.
