About this file

This Performance Work Statement (PWS) outlines medical insurance requirements for Saudi Ministry of National Guard (MNG) students and their dependents attending training courses in the United States. The contractor must be certified by the Council of Cooperative Health Insurance (CCHI) and Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA), and provide comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage. The estimated population includes 300 total lives, with breakdowns of 100 single, 100 married, 200 students, and 100 family members.

The insurance coverage is extensive, including in-patient and out-patient benefits, maternity services, dental care, and vision benefits. Key coverage areas include full payment for hospitalization, surgical procedures, organ transplants, emergency services, cancer treatments, wellness tests, and specialized services like autism support and newborn care. The policy has specific eligibility requirements for students and dependents, with coverage lasting only during the duration of training in the United States. Notably, the PWS includes detailed exclusions for certain medical treatments and specifies that the contractor must provide bilingual (Arabic and English) insurance benefit brochures to all policy holders.
