About this file
This is a Request for Information (RFI) document containing the Department of Veterans Affairs' market research questions to industry regarding nebulizers, compressors, and related accessories for the FY26 Procurement Program. The RFI is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a binding solicitation; responses cannot form a contract.
The document requests comprehensive market intelligence across ten key areas: industry landscape and trends, supply chain reliability and risk mitigation, product quality and regulatory compliance, commercial distribution practices, pricing dynamics and competition, manufacturing capacity and scalability, small business participation, product lifecycle and support, commercial availability and standardization, and feedback on VA procurement structure. Respondents must provide detailed company information including legal business name, UEI, CAGE code, business size classification, and socioeconomic status, along with complete product offerings with technical specifications and part numbers. All products must comply with the Buy American Act and deliver only U.S.-made or designated country end products. Responses must be submitted within five business days of receipt as a signed PDF to Contract Specialist John Overstake. The VA will conduct Industry Days on July 14-16, 2026 at its Denver Logistics Services facility in Golden, Colorado, with a Board of Subject Matter Experts available for one-on-one engagements. Following RFI analysis, the Government anticipates issuing a formal solicitation (RFP or RFQ) informed by market research findings and industry feedback. All responses are retained in the contract file; respondents are responsible for all submission expenses and cannot invoice the Government for response preparation costs.
