About this file

This document contains a drawing and checklist for a 36x36 pallet. The drawing provides specifications for constructing the pallet out of #2 grade or better lumber, including dimensions for two 2x4 boards and eleven 1x6 boards to be fastened with spiral nails. The checklist includes 52 questions for a design engineer to consider regarding the pallet design, such as whether alternative designs were evaluated, if the material is suitable for explosive atmospheres, and if adequate safety measures are incorporated. The related federal contract opportunity is for 36x36 pallets, with the Department of the Army Materiel Command Contracting Command Rock Island Arsenal listed as the agency and January 2023 provided as the response date.
