About this file
This is a Statement of Work for food delivery services to three District III detention facilities operated by the Bureau of Indian Affairs.
The contractor must supply comprehensive food items including meats (fresh and frozen), fruits, vegetables, breads, condiments, seasonings, beverages, non-perishables, dry goods, pastas, and non-food items to support fixed seasonal menus. Deliveries occur once per week to three locations: Eastern Nevada Detention Center (Owyhee, NV), Ute Indian Tribe Justice Center (Fort Duchesne, UT), and Hopi Adult Detention Center (Keams Canyon, AZ). All products must meet U.S. Department of Agriculture and Food and Drug Administration food safety standards and be transported in clean, temperature-controlled vehicles. Packing slips and invoices must accompany each delivery, and substitutions require prior facility approval. The estimated inmate population is 20 individuals daily, with approximately 5,500 meals served monthly (breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack). Individual purchase calls are limited to $10,000 per call for non-warranted BIA employees. Orders are placed via telefax, telephone, email, or in person by four authorized individuals: Christopher Harney, Jamie Crazy Bear, Alfreda Wagner, and Vincente Anchondo. Invoices must be submitted through the Internet Payment Platform at http://ipp.gov/, and all delivery tickets must include supplier name, Purchase Order Number, date of purchase, call number, itemized supplies list, quantity, unit price, extension, and delivery date.
The performance period consists of a 12-month base year from the date of award plus four optional 12-month renewal years, for a total potential five-year contract period.
