Statement of Work
PBY 5a Air Show Static
Fairchild AFB requires a PBY-5a static. The Contractor will provide a PBY 5a aircraft Static Display during the
2024 Fairchild AFB Open House and Air Show 21-23 June 2024. The Contractor shall arrive at Fairchild AFB in time to enter crew rest prior to the safety briefing on Friday 21 June 2024.
1. Contractor Responsibilities:
1.1 The Contractor shall provide performances in support of the 2024 Fairchild AFB Skyfest as detailed below.
1.2 If available, the Contractor website shall include, as a minimum, airshow location, time, and date. The
Contractor shall coordinate with Fairchild AFB Public Affairs (POC Capt Terri Bunce, 509-247-8355) in order to keep the FAFB Skyfest website up to date on performer details.
1.3 Before arrival, the Contractor shall work with the Air Boss and event Announcer to ensure contractor requirements are satisfied (fuel type, static display slot, etc.).
1.4 Contractor shall provide a static display on 21 June 2024, 22 June 2024, and 23 June 2024 between 0900 and 1500 PST.
1.5 The Contractor shall interact with the crowd to the maximum extent and shall be available for questions from spectators through the duration of the Air Show. The contractor or performer will provide a description of the routine to Air Boss prior to event to ensure safety protocols are met.
1.6 Before and during commencement of the 2024 Skyfest, the Contractor shall make regular contact with the
FAFB Skyfest Open House Director and Air Boss. The Contractor shall keep these Skyfest staff members apprised of any events that may affect the FAFB Skyfest.
1.7 The Contractor shall submit a listing of their personnel who will be performing services under this contract for security checks no later than 17 May 2024. The contractor will provide those names to the military Air
Boss.
1.8 AIR TRANSPORTATION-The Contractor shall provide their own transportation to and from Fairchild
AFB, WA.
1.9 LODGING- The contractor shall provide their own lodging for Thursday 20 June 2024 through Monday 24 June 2024. Checkout will be no later than Monday 24 June 2024. Lodging on base may be available for booking, but not a guarantee.
1.10 GROUND TRANSPORTATION-The contractor shall provide their own rental vehicle for the duration of the airshow.
2. The 2024 FAFB Skyfest Airshow and the 92d Air Refueling Wing will provide the following services to the

2.1 GROUND TRANSPORTATION- Vehicle passes will be provided for base access as well as display ramp access.
2.2 SITE ACCESS-92 ARW will provide limited access with military escort, when necessary, to Skyfest functions, including access to the flight line during the Airshow, any receptions, briefings, and media day events.

2.3 AIRCREW LOGISTICS-92 ARW will provide full access to telephone and computer equipment during full duration of the event for attending aircrews and for aerial demonstration coordination. The Contractor shall coordinate with the military Air Boss for acquisition of smoke oil, fuel, engine oil, oxygen, and nitrogen requirements.
