STATEMENT OF WORK
Load Test & Re-Cert of MPRS Cradles

Attach. 1 - SOW
1. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES: The Contractor shall furnish the necessary personnel, material, equipment, transportation and services to perform load test and re-certification of Multi-Point Refueling System (MPRS) Pod Cradles. Contractor shall keep in effect all necessary permits, licenses, and insurance.
2. CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILITIES. The contractor will coordinate with either TSgt Isaiah Arn or TSgt Nicholas Taylor at 92.MXS.ResourceAdvisor@us.af.mil for shipping questions or concerns.
3. CONTRACTOR QUALITY ASSURANCE: The Contractor shall be responsible for the quality of all completed work. The Contractor shall also ensure the cradles have been inspected for usability and material defects as well as perform any physical operational checks. The contractor will be responsible for safeguarding government property. The hydraulics shop will ensure proper documentation is prepared to document transfer of property upon delivery and pickup from the contractor.
4. GENERAL INFORMATION.
4.1. HOURS OF PERFORMANCE. The normal working hours are 7:30 am to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, Friday 7:30am to 4pm excluding Federal Holidays.
4.2. SCOPE of SERVICES: Load Testing
• Perform load test on all required parts of the MPRS Pod Cradles assembly to include lifting sling bridles assemblies and slings restraint strap assembly and restraint straps In accordance with the provided technical data.
• Governing standards and regulations. Analysis, evaluation and work shall be in accordance with and based on the following current publications as well as all others applicable to the safe efficient and economical operation of lifting systems related to the department of defense or military service branch regulations, handbooks and operating instructions.
• FRL Maintenance Manual (Air force Technical Ref. T.O. 35G3-3-8-2) Chap. 50-7, Page 1, paragraph 2 & 3, and page 2, Chap. 50-7. Figure 1.
• DAFMAN 91-203, Wire Rope Slings paragraph 12.12.3.2.1-12.12.3.2.4 and Synthetic Web Slings paragraph 12.12.3.4.1-12.12.3.4.4.
• Load testing will be done annually on each MPRS Pod Cradles in accordance with the proceeding references.
4.3. TRANSPORTING CRADLES: The Government will be responsible for shipping the cradles.
• Contractor must be within 30 road miles of Fairchild Air Force base.
4.4. WASTE DISPOSAL: All hazardous waste, rubble and trash shall be disposed of off-base.
Contractor's trucks shall be equipped with covers or containers to prevent spills of waste materials on, or off-base.

4.4. WARRANTY: The Contractor shall pass on all commercial warranties to the government.
A copy of each warranty shall be furnished to the Contracting Officer not later than the date of the final inspection.
